Aadi: Pronounced A as in 'are' and 'di' as in dinner. Aadi is a word that is common to Indic languages. It means the first, the source or the original. It refers to God as the origin of all existence and the original soul Who created all other souls. In naming traditions Aadi, usually spelled Adi in english is used mainly by South Indian traditions, especially by the Tamils. Aanand: Pronounced A as in 'are', nand is said as in 'nund'. Usually Aanand is spelled Anand. It means bliss and refers to the word Satchiananda.
