Thank you for your consideration in making a donation to MyHinduPage.org. I am the webmaster of MyHinduPage, my name is Guhanathaswami. I am a Hindu missionary and my main service to the public is through education. MyHinduPage website is an arm of my effort in spreading the universal teachings of Hinduism and yoga philosophy to all those who wish to know. MyHinduPage is run mainly by the donations it receives. Fortunately under the auspices of Murasu.com, whose server space was kindly donated to MyHinduPage for its web existence, the cost of hosting has been relieved. Therefore your donations can go directly into fueling the content and softwares that run MyHinduPage.org .

Along with sustaining and developing MyHinduPage.org your donations also are channeled into the welfare activities of The Center for Hindu Studies. At the moment The Center for Hindu Studies is directly involved in two social service projects. The first is the development and running of Sadhana Visionary Academy (SVA). SVA is a not-for-profit school that provides school, room and board facilities for poor students who excel in their studies, who would otherwise be deprived of academic opportunities if they continued their education in lax public educational institutions. SVA is evolving to provide both complete primary and high school curriculum that also includes spiritual education for its students. SVA was launched this year in 2010 and it has 4 full scholarship students. Your contributions go directly in providing the room, board and tuition for these students. To learn more about SVA, click here.

The second charitable activity that The Center for Hindu Studies is involved in, is a historic revival of a Thai-Hindu temple in Southern Thailand. An ancient Thai-Hindu temple that was destroyed more than 1000 years ago is being revived. The temple is dedicated to Lord Narayanan, whose ancient statue can be viewed as the centerpiece of the Phuket Museum. The Sri Andaman Narayanan Devasthanam Foundation, was formed to revive the temple at its ancient site in the district of Takua Pa, about 2 hours away from the Island of Phuket. The Center for Hindu Studies is directly involved in helping with the revival of this ancient temple through providing much needed experience and support in coordinating logistics and fund-raising for the Sri Andaman Narayanan Devasthanam.
