My Hindu Page's Mission
1. The first and foremost goal of this website, My Hindu Page, is to provide Hindus and others interested in Hinduism with knowledge of the beliefs and practices of the Hindu religion.
Hinduism is playing a vital role in the world today with the introduction of yoga exercises and dhyana, or meditation into mainstream society. As for Hindus these are our hereditary knowledge. Society gains much benefit, both emotionally and spiritually from such universal Hindu practices. Hindu beliefs like karma, dharma and reincarnation, are a source of reassurance and inspiration. To empower Hindus with the knowledge Hindu philosophy and Hindu practices is the core purpose of My Hindu Page. Toward the fulfillment of this end of My Hindu Page’s mission you will find lessons on Hinduism and its practices such as hatha yoga, meditation and many other educational resources both for adults and children.

2. An equally important goal of My Hindu Page is to provide a global online venue for Hindu community support and enrichment through My Hindu Page’s community pages.
The Hindu Community pages of My Hindu Page is for featuring the activities of Hindu organizations all over the world. It is part of the service of My Hindu Page to help publicize the welfare and religious activities of Hindu based organizations whether it be temples or a group of devotees. The eventual goal of this service is to create a database of Hindu temples and organizations that will help bridge the gap between the International Hindu diaspora. The community pages will also have the facility to publish articles written by Hindus or those inspired by Hinduism to share their passions and concerns about Hinduism.

3. To create and collect online Hindu resources to enrich the online experience of My Hindu Page.
The Hindu Resouces Page will be varied collection of articles, Hindu art, photographs, audio, video, puzzles, pilgrimage information and so forth. A feature of the Resources Page will be a comprehensive collection of Hindu names that grows with online user participation.

My Hindu Page site and the domain myhindupage.org is owned by the Center for Hindu Studies which is based in Malaysia. This site and it’s mission is an outgrowth of the Hindu missionary activities of Sannyasin Guhanathaswami (the Director of the Center for Hindu Studies).
This site began publication online in January 2008
